Subject: Dora Lee Lord born Mar 1881 in your tree
1900 Census - Hurricane, Pickebns Co, SC Durham, Carter - age 78 Catherine -
wife -age 61 July 1838 Dora Lee - stepdaughter age 19 Mar 1881. I am researching
Catherine. She was born Nancy Catherine Davidson abt 1840 in Habersham Co, GA.
She married
1) David Jasper Boling in 1857; had 3 sons. He died 1863 -Civil War
2) Thomas Jordan in 1868. Had 1 daughter.
3.) Wm R Lord in 1877. He died in 1893 in GA.
4) Carter Durham in 1898. He died 1901.
If Dora in the 1900 Census was born in 1881, she had to be the daughter of Wm
Lord & Catherine. In 1920 Census Hurricane Township: Martin, Marshall age
36 Dora age 32 Grover age 9 Grace age 5 Durham, Catherine - mother-in-law - age
83 - widowed. Is this the same Dora as in the 1900 Census? In 1930 Census,
Greenville, Catherine Durham is living with her son, David J Bowling and grandson,
Eugene Bowling. I am looking for more information on Dora and Catherine between
the years 1894 and 1898. If you can help. would appreciate it.
