and "Pinkney Durham" (male), age 17, are both listed as "boarders"
and "Field Hands" in the household of William Brandon, and wife, Martha.
In the 1910 Census for Montague County, Texas (Justice Precinct 8 - District
182), Jim Durham, age 23, and just married to Lillie, age 18, listed as "daughter-in-law",
are both living in the household of Rebecca Brandon, age 51 and "widowed".
Rebecca is listed as having 4 children and 4 children still living. There is
also a "Sarah Durham", age 19, listed as "Daughter", and
Luella Brandon, age 9, listed as "Daughter", in this same household. Irvin A. DURHAM and ??? WATISON had the following children:

Ann Brandon" appears in Shamrock, Wheeler County, Texas. "Brandon"
is her maiden name - not her married name.
Buried in Sunset Cemetery in Shamrock, Texas. Informant at death listed as "J.
W. Durham" of Twitly, Texas. In the 1910 Census for Montague County, Texas
(Justice Precinct 8 - District 182), Jim Durham, age 23, and just married to
Lillie, age 18, listed as "daughter-in-law", are both living in the
household of Rebecca Brandon, age 51 and "widowed". Rebecca is listed
as having 4 children and 4 children still living. There is also a "Sarah
Durham", age 19, listed as "Daughter", and Luella Brandon (HAAS),
age 9, listed as "Daughter", in this same household. (NOTE: Dovie L.
Haas, age 0/12, is listed as "daughter" to William B. Haas and wife,
Rebecca, in the 1900 Census for Jackson County, Alabama - Tupelo. I believe
that Dovie L. is the same person as "Luella Brandon" listed in 1910).
In the 1920 Census for Montague County, Texas (Sunset - District 106), Rebecca
J. Brandon, age 63, is listed as "head of household" and living next
door to Jim W. Durham, age 31. Both are listed as born in "Alabama".
J. W. Durham is listed as "informant" on the death certificate of
"Rebecca Ann Brandon" on 13 July 1928 in Wheeler County, Texas.

Madora Catherine young was born in Tennessee. Her father was Isaac C Young and
her mother was Sarah Nancy A Harwell from Giles county, TN.
Jesse Richard Durham Parents were Isiah Durham and is on the jackson county alabama
census with his parents in Jackson county for 185o and 1860. Mary Evans was his
mother.
Jesse Richard Durham Was in the civil war and was a POW. Sent to Rock Island
POW camp 22 Jan 1864. Madora drew a pension from his civil war record.
Irvan is buried next to his grand-parents. He shows up on the census for 1870
and 188o in the house with his parents. On the 1870 census their names are mis-spelled
as darham. He married Rebecca 26 Feb 1884. She married William Haas 16 Feb 1898.
There are no 1890 census records. But on the 1900 census her children from Irvin
are in the house whth her and william Haas.
I did not know till now who Rebeccas parents were. Thanks for that info. That
is probably why I could not find her before she married Irvin as the marriage
record from ancestry has her last name as Branum.
I found her on the 1880 census and believe her mother to be buried in the Proctor
Cemetery listed as S J Brandon Born 26 Mar 1832 and died 11 Mar 1918.
