316. Otis G. DURHAM was born on 13 Mar 1927 in Caswell County, North Carolina.⁶⁰ He died on 17 May 2012 in Greensboro, Guilford County, North Carolina. Otis G. Durham,Sr., age 85, of Blanch, NC, died Thursday, May 17, 2012 at WhiteStone Care & Wellness Center in Greensboro.NC.

Born in Caswell County, NC on March 13, 1927, he was the son of the late Wickham Lee Durham and Mary Alice Durham Durham, He was married to Ovella June Marshall Durham who predeceased him on July 18, 2004. He was a member of Community Baptist Church and he had retired from Lucent Technologies where he worked in the electronics quality control, for the Nike Missle Project, and claims division. He served in the South Pacific during his tour of duty with the United States Navy.

Mr. Durham is survived by daughter, Judith Ann Durham Fawley and her husband, Larry. of Liberty, NC, and three sons, Richard L. Durham of Gray, GA., Otis G. Durham, Jr.and his wife, Pam, of Kernersville, NC, and Stephen M. Durham of Queensland, Australia; Also four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by one sister, Josephine E. Durham and five brothers, Arthur N. "Jack" Durham, John W. Durham, W. Malloy Durham, Herman L. Durham and Grover Thomas Durham.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Community Baptist Church at 3050 Old Hwy. 86 N, Yanceyville, NC with the Rev. Jonathan Hamilton officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at Barker Funeral Home Chapel at 2025 North Main Street, Danville, VA. on Sunday, May 20, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.. There will be a viewing at Community Baptist Church one hour prior to the service on Monday. Although flowers are welcome, the family encourages donations be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405. Otis G. DURHAM and Ovella June MARSHALL were married. Ovella June MARSHALL died on 14 Jul 2004 in North Carolina. Otis G. DURHAM and Ovella June MARSHALL had the following children:
