David Durham's daughter Mary J. Durham, born ca 1838, is listed as 22 years old in the household of Sallie Daniel in the 1860 Census for Caswell County, North Carolina. David Durham and family are living next door.

In the 1870 Census for Caswell County, North Carolina (Pelham), Caroline Durham, age 17 is listed in the household of David Durham, age 60 (ca 1810).

David DURHAM and Mary "Mollie" SPARKS were married about 1830 in North Carolina. Mary "Mollie" SPARKS was born about 1811 in place unknown.^2,3 David DURHAM and Mary "Mollie" SPARKS had the following children:
