8. John Pascal DURHAM was born in Mar 1839 in Tennessee.^2,4,10,11,14 He died in 1913 in Tennessee.¹² Buried on Cane Creek. (The are is under water now due to the lake that was created by the T. V. A.) There is a "James Durham", age 14, and a "John Durham", age 11, listed in the household of Pascal Durham and wife Elizabeth, in the 1870 Census for Stewart County, Tennessee (District 1). (My best guess is that these are sons of Hiram Durham, who is listed in the household of his brother - Robert Durham, on the same page. It appears that Hiram's wife, Lenna, died and he and his sons then moved in with Siblings of Hiram's.) Nannie Durham, age 78, born in "Georgia" is also living with Pascal and Elizabeth.

In the 1900 Census for Stewart County, Tennessee (Civil District 5 - District 63), John P. Durham, age 61 (b. Mar 1839), shows that his father was born in "Vermont" and his mother was born in "Georgia".

Durham, age 59 and married for "46" years. She is also shown as having 10 children - 8 of which were still living in 1900. John Pascal DURHAM and Alta Maria "Elizabeth?"
