William "Bill" Andrew Durham
Yes, the family called William Andrew Durham by nickname "Bill". He was the child of Thomas Franklin Durham (1865-1950) and Nettie Lee Davis . The picture that I posted of the older man in the wheel chair is the father. We visited him in Atlanta when I was about 9 yrs old. He died just a few months afterwards in 1950. He was married to Nettie and had Bill but from family tales shot a merchant in Ft. Smith and left AR and went back to GA. He remarried and had three children in GA. I knew several of Bill's children and was the same age as some of his grandchildren. In fact, two of them sang at my mother's funeral in 1992.
