Dora "Dora" RODGERS and James R. HICKS were married. James R. HICKS was born on 21 Jun 1866. He died on 25 Sep 1924. He was buried in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery, Powdersville, Anderson County, SC. They had no children.

Dora "Dora" RODGERS and Sydney Monroe "Monroe" WILSON were married. Sydney Monroe "Monroe" WILSON was born on 23 Oct 1867. He died on 8 Mar 1953 in the Old Wilson Home, Hwy 81, Piedmont, Anderson County, SC. The Old Wilson Home is now in Powdersville (Mt Airy) near Brushy Creek. He was buried in Siloam Baptist Church Cemetery, Powdersville, Anderson County, SC. Sydney Monroe Wilson was a farmer by trade. His home place was located off highway 81 in what is now a subdivision called "Wilson Place". Turn off highway 81 onto Wilson Way and take the first right into the cul-da-sac. The house was on the left where the large oak trees are now located with the newly built two story house.

Sydney was spelled Sidney Monroe Wilson incorrectly on his tombstone. The Army incorrectly changed the spelling from "y" to "i" per his granddaughter, JoBeth Wilson Mahathey.
