Both are listed in the 1850 Census for Lincoln County, Tennessee, with Bedford Durham listed one page before John Durham. The 1840 Census for Lincoln County, Tennessee does not show Bedford Durham as having a son that matches the age of John Durham (John would be 28 in 1840), but the 1820 Census for Lincoln County, Tennessee shows Bedford with 3 males 0-10 years old, and 1 male 10-16. I place John Durham here until I can find more information). Bedford Durham is the oldest Durham listed in the 1840 Census for Lincoln County, Tennessee.
